Seventeen years in real estate, across different brands, markets, and cycles, has taught me a lot. What works, what doesn’t, and most importantly, what actually matters when people are making big life decisions.
I’ve been fortunate to achieve some strong results along the way. Over $350 million in settled sales, consistently ranked as the No.1 agent in Ellerslie since 2018, and recognition within the Ray White group including Elite and Chairman’s Elite status over multiple years.
But if I’m being transparent, the awards aren’t what I’m most proud of.
The real measure for me is the number of clients who come back again, and the families who refer me to their friends, siblings, parents, and neighbours. That only happens when people feel looked after, kept informed, and confident you’ve done the right thing by them.
Real estate isn’t just about hitting a number. It’s about guiding people through a process that can be stressful, emotional, and at times uncertain, and making it feel a lot more straightforward than they expected.
I still stay very hands-on in every campaign. I enjoy the negotiation, the strategy, and working closely with buyers, but just as much, I value the trust clients place in me to represent them properly.
As Sales Director, I’m also conscious of the example I set. I want to be someone my colleagues can learn from and rely on, and just as importantly, someone my kids can look at and be proud of. How you show up, how you treat people, and how you handle pressure matters.
The results matter. But how you get there matters more.
